The Challenge
The existing process for purchasing shares was offline, complex, and required physical presence or manual processing. This created friction for clients and administrative overhead for the bank. The challenge was to design an intuitive, secure, and compliant online experience that builds trust, minimizes effort for users, and simplifies verification while handling sensitive financial data responsibly.
The Solution
I designed a step-by-step, mobile-first web app that guides users through every stage, starting with entering personal details, selecting share quantities, and securely verifying their identity using the 2nd group of 4 digits from their CIB card. The UX focused on clarity, progressive disclosure, and trust-building elements, including recaptcha security, transparent cost calculation, and a confirmation screen with downloadable proof of transaction. Each interaction was optimized for ease of use on small screens.

The Result
The web application successfully digitized a previously manual process, reducing friction and increasing engagement. BDL bank clients can now complete share purchases from their phones in minutes, while the bank benefits from streamlined operations and improved user satisfaction. This solution enhances the bank digital service offering and lays the foundation for scalable, user-centered fintech tools.
